Changing Hands: A Workshop on Farm Succession Planning and Access to Land brings together retiring and aspiring farmers for a full day of training. Participants will also engage in facilitated networking on regional issues throughout the day in order to build a community that will last beyond the workshops.

If you are a retiring farmer, come learn from experts about what it takes to pass on your business to the next generation – keeping it in the family or finding others to carry it on.

If you are an aspiring farmer, come learn about creative ways to start your farm business with topics on finding, leasing, financing and buying agricultural land.

This day-long workshop starts with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and goes through 5:00 p.m. with lunch and afternoon snacks included.

Register by April 10, 2018 for just $20, including meals. Late registration, beginning April 11, 2018 will be $30.

Workshop session tracks can be viewed at the Rogue Farm Corps website.

This workshop is made possible by the generous support of the following organizations: Greenleaf Farm Management, Iroquois Valley Farms, Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District, East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District, Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District, and Rogue Farm Corps.
