Tryon Creek Watershed Council (TCWC) announces that they are now accepting pre-orders of native, mostly bare-root native plants. They will be available for pickup February 12-14th 2016 at the Tryon Creek Nature Center in SW Portland.

How it works:
1. Pre-order plants, minimum order of 10 plants. Click here to order. Plants will mostly be bare-root but some may be plugs or in pots. There is no hard deadline for your order, but it’s better to order soon. If you order later, many of the popular plants will be sold out.

2. They will do their best to source all of the orders and will send you an invoice for what they are able to get for you. Plants cost $2 each with the exception of a few extra special ones, usually potted and only available in larger sizes, that they have by popular request but can’t get that inexpensively.

3. Send Tryon Creek Watershed Council a check within 2 weeks of receiving the invoice. (If you do not have a checkbook, you can use your banks online billpay system to send a check.) If you are receiving them for free because you are planting them in a Tryon Creek riparian area, you MUST send photos of the site before you receive the plants and after you plant them or give TCWC permission to send a volunteer to your property to take before and after photos.

4. You will receive a link to sign up for a time slot to pick up your plants on February 13-15, 2016. This is the only time plants can be picked up, however you may send a friend to pick them up for you. Because weather can interfere with plant delivery, please understand that we may ask you to be flexible.
