Soil School 2018

Registration is now open for Soil School 2018! Please click on the registration form below for this exciting and fun one-day workshop on all things soil to be held Saturday, April 7 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the PCC Rock Creek Event Center.

This year, Soil School is approved for Oregon Landscape Contractors Board Continuing Education Hours (CEH)! Certificates will be available to registered landscape professionals.

This year’s kick off speaker is, once again, Dr. Soil – James Cassidy, OSU soil scientist and instructor. The keynote speaker during lunch is Dr. Celeste Searles Mazzacano, who will present a fascinating talk on dragonflies and damselflies!

New this year is a recurring session, Hands on Soil, which will be held outside in the PCC Rock Creek Learning Garden. You’ll view the garden, dig in the soil and learn about many topics related to soil health.
