Registration for the 2017 Northwest Dairy Goat Association Conference is now open!

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Clackamas High School in Clackamas, Oregon from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Each year, dairy goat farmers and friends from around the Pacific Northwest gather to share and learn about all things dairy goat. The Northwest Dairy Goat Association is a not-for-profit organization that promotes the dairy goat through products, industry, support of youth events, and shows.

District Conservation Specialist Scott Eden will once again be presenting at the conference. This year he will present on the topic of mud and manure management in the barnyard. He will also have a second presentation that covers erosion, run-off, and riparian area management. (Riparian areas are those areas that are located next to streams, rivers, and other water ways.)

Cost for the event is $35 for adults and $15 for youth. Bring your own lunch or pre-register for lunch ( Pulled Pork or Sliced Beef Brisket sliders, Baked Beans, and Coleslaw or BBQ Mac Salad) – cost is $12 in addition to registration.
