Beavercreek Earth Day Event is Saturday, April 23rd!
Join Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District and the marvelous folks at the Beavercreek 10 O’clock Church (Beavercreek United Church of Christ) for a fun-filled, family-friendly Earth Day Event on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. til noon.
Activities will include:
- Paper making
- Arts and crafts
- Native Plant Sale
- Information on Pollinators and Bees
- Composting and vermiculture instruction
- Food vendors
- Lots of informational booths
There will also be a special guest speaker. Greg Smith, professor emeritus of Lewis and Clark College, taught “Envisioning a Sustain-able Society”. He will be sharing his vision in a presentation followed by a Q&A session.
Additionally, there will be a land blessing and a drumming circle to close the event.
