CREST is celebrating its 20th Anniversary in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District with a special celebration event on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the CREST Center; 11265 SW Wilsonville Road, Wilsonville. There will be a special presentation at noon.
CREST — Center for Research in Environmental Sciences and Technologies — launched in 2002 and has been a mainstay across all Wilsonville/West Linn district schools ever since. The entire community is invited to celebrate CREST on April 30 with a large number of interactive activities and opportunities for all ages. There will be music, fun, and food for sale provided by two local food carts.
Stop by any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to connect with CREST and the larger West Linn-Wilsonville community!
Activities and booths include:
- A pollinator-supporting plant sale from the Bolton Bees
- Multiple school sustainability project examples
- Learn about the Lowrie Primary Farm-to-School Program and try some locally-grown vegetables
- Make your mark on a community art project to be installed at CREST!
