Celebrating Water Event

Clackamas SWCD, in partnership with other public organizations in Clackamas County, will be participating in Celebrating Water, a 2-day event held at Clackamas Community College on April 2nd and 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. until noon. This annual even is put on by the Clackamas County Water Education Team (CCWET) and includes, but is not limited to, partners from such organizations at Clackamas River Water Providers, Water Environment Service, Oak Lodge Sanitary District, National Wildlife Federation, Clackamas Community College Environmental Learning Center, Clackamas River Basin Council, and more.

The Celebrating Water event provides hands on activities for 4th and 5th grade students from around Clackamas County. A water conservation themed theater presentation is also provided by master story-teller Will Hornyack. Advance registration for this event is required and all available slots are now filled.
