Forest Weed Management Field Day

Join Clackamas SWCD’s Justin Cooley at Hopkins Demonstration Forest in Beavercreek, Oregon on Saturday, April 12, 2025 for a Forest Weed Management Field Day.

This field workshop, hosted by OSU Extension and the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District, will take participants on a field trip to explore several sites, providing an opportunity to learn from real-world experiences in forest vegetation management and invasive weed control. Attendees will gain insights into effective weed management strategies including the use of herbicides, non-chemical alternatives, and integrated pest management techniques for selecting and combining the best methods.

  • What to bring: Dress for the weather and be prepared for a day in the woods. Please bring a lunch, coffee and light snacks will be provided.
