2014 Soil Quality Network

Registration is now open for the 2014 Soil Quality Network event to be held on February 13, 2014 at the Washington State University Mt. Vernon Research and Extension.

This event will provide agricultural professionals and farmers with access to soil quality resources and will focus on field assessment of soil quality, cover crops, compost and plant disease.

Cost for the event is $30 and includes lunch. Participants may register by using the WSU Extension Online Conference Registration System.

Funded by the Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Professional Development Program, the Soil Quality Network is a three-year project to create a database, develop a website, and train agriculture professionals in soil quality assessment, education, program development and strategies to support farmers.
