If pastures and grazing are high on your list of things to take care of, then you won’t want to miss the Oregon Forage and Grasslands Council Spring Conference. This event will be held in Corvallis at the Oregon State University Oldfield Animal Teaching Facility on March 14, 2015.
Topics such as fertilizing pastures, parasite control in grazing livestock, targeted grazing, and utilization of sprouted grains as a feed alternative will be covered by experts in the field.
You definitely won’t want to miss weed control in pastures, the menace of pasture manager’s everywhere!
Registration is $50 at the door. The registration fee includes lunch and a 1-year membership to the Oregon Forage and Grassland Council. Student registration is $20.
