We are happy to share this information about the 34th Annual Trillium Festival and the Native and Hardy Plant Sale!

Each year the Friends of Tryon Creek State Park and Oregon Parks and Recreation Department are thrilled to share the beauty of our awakening forest with visitors as they enjoy this wonderful community event. Visitors may enjoy our native and hardy plant sale, guided nature hikes, nature discovery openhouse and exhibits, local craft and garden art vendors, and native gardening and nature presentations at the only all-urban state park in Oregon! This exciting event supports the education and restoration programs of the Friends of Tryon Creek State Park, and is a great place to find all the native plants you’ll need for your yard this Spring. Hope we’ll see you there!

The trillium festival also offer an early 9:00am entry for members Saturday on who also receive 10% of all plant sale and gift store purchases. You may visit on website today and become a member or at the Festival itself. Additionally, members, new and current, giving $75 or more at the Trillium Festival will receive a trillium plant.

The Friends also offer a free shuttle from Lewis and Clark College (located just north of the park on Terwilliger Blvd. and Palatine Hill Rd. respectively) during festival hours which makes it easy to get to and from the event site. This year’s Trillium Festival is co-sponsored with Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, a vital partner of the Friends and works with the Friends so the public may continue to enjoy this unique recreational setting throughout the year.
