Join Clair on his blueberry farm as discusses the three most important things you can do for your blueberry plants: weed, water, and prune. He demonstrates drip emitters to save water and suggests using a water timer. The type and timing of fertilizer is important — protect groundwater and improve your plants by fertilizing more often with less fertilizer. (And note that he has grass growing between his rows to reduce weeds and erosion!) The video wraps up with discussion of varieties (did you know that smaller berries often have more flavor than large berries?) and bird control. Produced by the Clackamas County Government Channel.
