Conservation Resource Center

at the Beavercreek Demonstration Farm

Welcome to the CRC

Built in 2019 on the 15-acre Beavercreek Demonstration Farm, the 11,000 square foot Conservation Resource Center and supporting outbuildings provide the ideal setting for demonstration of conservation practices, meeting with residents about conservation, rent conservation tools and equipment, and to serve as the base of operations for our staff and federal partners.

Workshops and training are offered at the CRC throughout the year, and planning is underway to determine what field demonstrations would be best suited to the property, which has grass fields, a small Douglas fir woodlot, a small stream with two ponds, and several buildings, including a century-old barn.

Urban Demonstration Gardens

Around the outside of our main building and in the plaza, you will see areas with native plants and a pollinator garden. We are working on signs that will talk about the different plants, and there may be a few displays to explain what the plants do and why they are important.

There is a walking path that goes through the gardens so visitors can take a closer look. It is all a work in progress, but you can visit these areas during business hours.  Remember to check in at the front desk first!
