Lisa has two important roles at the District: Education and Outreach Program Manager and District Assistant Manager.
As the Education and Outreach Program Manager, she organizes educational events, creates videos, and designs brochures, booklets, and displays to help staff share information with the public. She also leads efforts to reduce pesticide use by organizing collection events, distributing calibrated windsocks to farmers, and improving sprayer efficiency.
As the Assistant Manager, Lisa has stepped in as District Manager twice, but she prefers supporting the current District Manager and the Board of Directors.
Lisa earned a bachelor’s degree in landscape horticulture from Montana State University and a master’s degree in environmental science from Washington State University. She especially enjoys working with people, whether she’s teaching about beneficial insects, coordinating speakers for field days, or welcoming people to District events.
Lisa lives in Clackamas County and enjoys camping and crafts in her free time.
