Contact:

Scott Eden grew up exploring nature along the Oregon coast.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in biological studies from Oregon State University and has built a strong reputation as a conservationist in the Willamette Valley.  Over the years, he has worked with many different agencies, contractors, watershed councils, and Soil and Water Conservation Districts.

For 15 years, Scott worked in the heart of the Willamette Valley’s agriculture industry with the Pudding River Watershed Council and Marion SWCD. In 2015, he joined Clackamas SWCD, where he provides technical support and conservation planning, including helping landowners with NRCS programs. His experience working with farmers and conservation experts has given him valuable skills to protect soil and water resources on both small and large farms. He also uses his knowledge of fish and wildlife to help restore and protect important habitats.

Scott’s broad knowledge allows him to contribute to many District projects, including improving irrigation, managing livestock and nutrients, and restoring wildlife habitats. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, history, art, and ecology, as well as spending time with his family.
