Jason believes that the best conservation efforts happen when the community is involved, and Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) have been using this approach for decades. His role at Clackamas SWCD allows him to work with a great team that provides valuable conservation benefits to the people of Clackamas County.
Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Oregon State University and has been working with Soil and Water Conservation Districts since 2002. In this role, he ensures that the District’s two properties are managed in a way that supports the District’s mission and benefits local residents. He also oversees the District’s IT and network systems.
