Restore/enhance native vegetation to improve ecosystem function and health. Invasive weed removal, native planting, follow-up weed maintenance, monitoring and consulting. Careful and thoughtful pre-assessments are conducted to develop flexible native ecosystem improvement plans. We will also create tree snags (standing dead) for the benefit of native wildlife. We avoid creating hazardous conditions yet maintain as much standing biomass as possible.
Ecological Forestry – I consult and write forest management plans to guide forestland owners in developing old-growth forest conditions. These plans include a site walk-through, plots recordings, data compilation, and the overall development of a clear concise plan that guides you along the way to fulfill your desired conditions.
I always include each landowner in the process of developing and implementing project guidelines. As a landowner, your desires and satisfaction are paramount to a successful project.
