Right Tools,Right Place:  Combating Invasives and Restoring Oak Habitat, will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026.  This workshop will take place at The Oregon Garden in Silverton, OR from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Registration is open now!

Oregon’s oak woodlands and savannas are under pressure from invasive plants, ice damage, and changing conditions that make it harder for oaks to thrive.

Join fellow landowners and forestry professionals for a one-day training focused on the ecology and restoration of Oregon oaks. Participants will learn about oak ecology, common invasive species, and management tools used to improve forest health and restore oak landscapes.

The program will include presentations from regional experts (including Clackamas SWCD Conservation Specialist Brendan Addis), field demonstrations, and a tour of The Oregon Garden’s oak restoration project.

You’re Invited, But Registration is Required

This training is geared toward landowners, but is open to anyone interested in learning more about oak restoration.
