Something exciting is taking shape at a property in Beavercreek, and there is an opportunity for you to come see it firsthand. The Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District is transforming its property into a working demonstration farm and community hub that shows how farming and thriving ecosystems don’t just coexist; they can support each other.

Beginning this summer, the property will undergo significant changes, and we’re inviting media and community leaders to come out before work begins to learn about the vision.

The Project Touches Every Corner of the Property

The District will restore a stream that hasn’t functioned naturally in decades, replace invasive trees to prevent their spread, restore white oak habitat that is nearly lost in the Willamette Valley, and transform agricultural spaces to model sustainable practices like no-till seeding, pollinator hedgerows, and water conservation. There is also a chapter of this property’s history coming to a close this summer, and the District wants to mark that moment with the community. Some of the upcoming work will be messy, but these short-term disruptions promise long-term benefits.
