Four people planting trees in a grassy field on a sunny day, each using a shovel. A tractor is parked nearby, and there are trees, fences, and houses in the background.

Passers by will notice a lot of hard working taking place at the Beavercreek Farm this summer.

We have something exciting to share! This is something we have been working toward for several years, and it is finally happening.

We are transforming our Beavercreek property into a working demonstration farm. This means that it will be a place where conservation practices show that farming and healthy ecosystems don’t just coexist. They can actually thrive together, side by side.

A hand-drawn aerial view of a rural scene with fields, a tractor, trees, a pond, a parking lot, and several buildings including a main farmhouse. Rows of crops and a tree-lined entrance are visible.

A glimpse of how the future Beavercreek Demonstration Farm may look. Very exciting!

The Transition Begins this Summer!

Starting this summer, and going through 2028, you’ll see some big changes to the property. A stream will be restored to flow naturally. Invasive trees will be replaced with native species. Fields will model practices like no-till farming, pollinator hedgerows, and water conservation. And yes — the old barn is coming down.

Follow Along as We Begin this Journey

We will have more to share about all of these changes soon. For now, check out the Farm Transition information page to learn about what we’re doing, why, and when.
