Learn about Succession Planning with our new 5-part video series for farmers, ranchers, and foresters.
Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District is happy to announce an Introduction to Succession Planning for Farmers, Ranchers, and Foresters.
This 5-part video series was made in collaboration with Diana Tourney, with funding support from the Clackamas, Tualatin, and East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation Districts.
What is a Succession Plan?
A succession plan (also called an estate transition or exit plan) is a plan that clearly defines your business and outlines the process you will take to pass ownership to the next generation. Having to think about the future can feel overwhelming, especially when it involves the legacy and future of your business—and your family.
Creating a succession plan for your farm, ranch, or forestry operation can help make sure your hard work will continue to support future generations and your larger community.
