It’s time to reserve equipment with our Equipment Rental Program.
The days are slowly but surely getting longer and that means it is time to prepare for the upcoming season.
February Checklist:
- Soil test your fields if you didn’t get to it in the fall
- Order amendments based on soil test results
- Order seed
- Reserve seed drill or seed spreader and manure spreader
- Apply amendments based on soil test results
- Seed cool season grasses March-May
This manure spreader is available through the Equipment Rental Program.
Spring Grazing Recommendation
When the grass is at least 6-8 inches and the ground is no longer saturated, you can begin grazing. Rotate fields when the grass has been grazed down to between 3-4 inches.
