We are celebrating another year in the books!
With the new year upon us, we want to take a moment to stop and reflect on our many accomplishments and challenges over the past year. We have been doing a lot of reflection as we work on our end-of-year reporting and plan for the year ahead.
To celebrate our accomplishments, the WeedWise Program has prepared an annual report for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. Over the last year, the WeedWise program has:
- Sent targeted mailings to 2414 households;
 - Provided technical assistance to 255 residents;
 - Worked with 443 landowners to implement weed projects;
 - Expended $540,642 in support of noxious weed control projects;
 - Maintained active permissions with 1791 landowners;
 - Partnering with 58 public and non-profit organizations;
 - Documented 3,796 new weed observations totaling 44 acres;
 - Completed 93 weed surveys totaling 2,030 acres;
 - Implemented 921 treatments totaling 13,782 acres;
 - Tracked 44,732 weed patches;
 - Administered 2 Cooperative Weed Management Areas;
 - Maintained the Clackamas Weed List with 222 weeds and 105 priority weeds;
