Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District is happy to promote the Oregon Forage and Grassland Council’s 2024 Summer Pasture Walk on Saturday August 31, 2024. This is a golden opportunity to learn about fall pasture management from experts in a field setting. Participants will be able to ask questions and get answers from others with pastures and forage/pasture experts.
Register for the 2024 Summer Pasture Walk Today!
This field day is being offered at no cost to our local farmers and ranchers. Registration, however, is required. Register by sending an email to [email protected]. Directions to the farm and pasture location will be provided to those who register. This WILL be a field day, so please dress for the weather.
Learn About the Advantage of No-Till
Participants at the 2024 Summer Pasture Walk will have an opportunity to learn about no-till drills and how they can be used to improve your pasture. The Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation Equipment Rental Program has no-till drills available to farmers and ranchers for minimal cost (to offset maintenance and repair.)
