Sealed Competitive Bids to provide construction services for the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District (“District”) will be received at the District office, 22055 S. Beavercreek Road in Beavercreek, Oregon, until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered.
Bids will be for the retrofit of the shop outbuilding behind the District’s administration building to create office space and storage. The site is located at 22055 S. Beavercreek Road in Beavercreek, Oregon. Bid documents can be obtained by contacting Jason Faucera by email at [email protected]; by telephone at (503) 210-6013; or at the District office, 22055 S. Beavercreek Road, Suite 1, Beavercreek, OR, 97004. Construction documents can be reviewed by appointment in the District office at the above address, or on the District website at www.conservationdistrict.org (see construction documents below).
Payment of Oregon prevailing wages effective January 1, 2023 for Region 2 (Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties) is required. Oregon’s prevailing wages can be found at https://www.oregon.gov/boli/employers/Pages/which-prevailing-wage-rate-applies-to-this-project.aspx.

Notice of Intent to Award Contract for Conservation Resource Center Shop Office Retrofit Public Improvement Project
Clackamas SWCD has determined that Buildskape, LLC, submitted the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the “Conservation Resource Center Shop Office Retrofit Project.”
On or after July 28, 2023, Clackamas SWCD intends to award the contract in the amount of $261,422 to Buildskape, LLC, with work tentatively expected to begin in August 2023.

Update #5 – June 28, 2023
At the public bid opening on June 28, we received and read the following five bids:

Once the Board provides a Notice of Intent to Award, our goal will be to have a contract in place by August 1 with work commencing shortly thereafter.

Update #2 – June 8, 2023
Addendum 1, which clarifies the electrical requirements for the main construction area and the remaining portion of the shop building, has been made available here and in the documents below as item I. Also, the updated electrical locations drawing as shown in Addendum 1 can be found in the drawings download item E below.
Acknowledgement of receipt of Addendum 1 and any future addenda is required on the bid form (Attachment B of the bid documents that are only available upon request as mentioned above). Bids without acknowledgement of all addenda will be deemed non-responsive and will be disqualified from selection.

An optional pre-bid site showing will be held at 22055 S Beavercreek Road, Beavercreek, OR 97004 on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 11:00 a.m.- noon. Please bring a copy of the design, requirements and any questions you may have about the project.
