Clackamas SWCD is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a culvert replacement/fish habitat enhancement project on a tributary to Clear Creek (Clackamas River Watershed) on a private property in Oregon City, Oregon.
The purpose of this project is to remove a fish passage barrier and eliminate a potential sediment source from a tributary of Clear Creek (located in the Clackamas River watershed). This tributary is designated as Essential Salmon Habitat and Critical Habitat for Lower Columbia Coho Salmon and Winter Steelhead. The implemented design will remove the currently perched and failing culvert and replace it with an arch pipe culvert that meets Federal and State fish passage guidelines.
Update #3 – May 31, 2019 – Notice of Intent to Award
Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District intends to award the Clear Creek Culvert Replacement Project contract to R.L. Reimers Company. Any aggrieved bidder may file a written protest with the District no later than June 7, 2019 at 12:00 pm.
Update #2 – May 21, 2019
We have posted Addendum 1 (item #5 below). This Addendum forms a part of the Contract documents and modifies the original. Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to do so may subject the bidder to disqualification.

Pre-bid site showing
A pre-bid site showing will be held at 17572 S. Hattan Rd, Oregon City, OR 97045 on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. Please bring a copy of the design and any questions you may have about the project. A representative from Waterways Consulting will be joining us to assist in answering questions.
