Fire Workshop Offered Again Due to Popular Demand!

Due to the overwhelming interest in Keeping Your Home and Property Safe from Wildfire, the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District has scheduled a second workshop in Welches.

Workshop details:

With recent, severe wildfires in close proximity to the communities on Mt. Hood, this workshop is a timely reminder that folks need to take action to reduce the risk of damage to their homes and forestland from wildfires.

There is help available from various agencies to plan what needs to be done on your property! Come learn about resources available to you to make plans to reduce fire danger on your property and how to carry out those plans. All of this information is available at the workshop.

Reservations Required!

This workshop is free, but space is limited. Our last workshop quickly filled to capacity. Please call to reserve your seat today!

To make your reservation, please contact the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District at 503-210-6000, or send an email message to [email protected]

These workshops are made possible through a partnership between Clackamas Community College, Clackamas County Department of Disaster Management, Clackamas County Farm Forestry Association, Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District, Oregon Department of Forestry, and Oregon State University Extension Service.
