Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District seeks an experienced Conservation Specialist to work mainly with small farms and rural landowners. Experience with wildlife habitat planning or managing stormwater is desirable.
The Conservation Specialist provides technical help to landowners, collaborating to successfully implement practices that conserve natural resources. We are looking for someone with strong project management skills, a self starter who can work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
If you have a bachelor’s degree in an agricultural or natural resources field of study and two years of planning experience (or an equivalent combination), please consider applying for this position.
