Our federal partners — agencies with the United States Department of Agriculture — recently updated their nondiscrimination statement. Following review and discussion by the District’s Board of Directors, the District has adopted an almost identical nondiscrimination statement. This helps us seamlessly provide service to clients who also work with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and the USDA Farm Services Agency.
You may continue to see our old nondiscrimination statement on District publications. As we reprint them, we’ll update the nondiscrimination statement to match the new one.
Here’s the new statement as adopted by the District on May 20, 2014:
The Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District (CCSWCD) prohibits discrimination against its customers, employees, and applicants for employment on the bases of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity, religion, reprisal, and where applicable, political beliefs, marital status, familial or parental status, sexual orientation, or all or part of an individual’s income is derived from any public assistance program, or protected genetic information in employment or in any program or activity conducted or funded by CCSWCD. CCSWCD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
The previous statement was:
