The contractor and engineers worked closely today to return Milk Creek to the old channel. Stream riffles that existed before the project were restored. Great progress was made on engineered log jams downstream to help protect that bank from flow that may be deflected off the large structure upstream.
Almost all work has been completed on the main structure. The crew is cleaning up and working on three smaller engineered log jams just downstream.
