The remainder of backfilling the structure was completed today, topsoil was replaced, and smoothing of the restored upper bank was started. Tomorrow, the surface will be smoothed, cobbles will be picked and raked, seed will be broadcast and then straw will be added to protect the seed and soil surface.
This morning we took a series of photos and stitched them together for a panoramic view of the project. The large panorama is 1680 pixels wide and 480 pixels high; the small panorama is the same photo reduced to 800 pixels by 228 pixels.
