A little rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of those who attended the Clackamas County Lavender Festival last weekend at the Oregon Lavender Farm. Although rain fell heavily on Saturday afternoon, Sunday greeted festival attendees with more moderate temperatures and no rain.
There are several conservation practices being used on this farm. In the photographs, you can see grass field borders to help hold soil and filter water. The lavender festival was abuzz with pollinators: bees, ladybugs, and butterflies!
