Did you know that Clackamas County is home to 12 different summer farmers markets? Our local markets are well represented in both rural and urban parts of our District and provide our communities with an incredible variety of locally grown, produced, and crafted agricultural and forestry products.
New regulations related to Covid-19 have inspired local market managers to come up with creative ways to keep shoppers and vendors safe and healthy. Farmers markets are meeting the challenge and some are even suggesting that farmers markets might be the safest bet for food shopping during the corona virus pandemic.
