The Columbia Gorge Cooperative Weed Management Area is pleased to announce: Stop the Invasion: Weed Management 101.
The Columbia Gorge CWMA, the Washington Invasive Species Council, Washington State University Extension, and APHIS are co-hosting a fantastic opportunity to learn about invasive species in the Columbia River Gorge. Participants will learn identification and control methods for dealing with pesky common weeds, as well as reporting methods for high priority invasive problems. Topics also include learning about important diseases and bugs.
Special guests, the Underwood Conservation District, will also be on hand talking about fire safety and how you can prevent fire on your rural property!
Bring your friends and neighbors and learn how to Stop the Invasion! This FREE class will help you gain control over your garden and contribute to the health of the region.
