October 19, 2017: Meet the Neighbors: An Update on Emerging Plant Pest Issues

Brown Marmorated Stink Bug

Participants will learn basic biology, identification, and damage of recently detected and emerging plant pests as well as species likely to be introduced. This session includes updates on azalea lace bug Japanese beetle, brown marmorated stink bug and spotted wing Drosophila.

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. $25 Agenda Session instructors: Robin Rosetta and David Lowenstein, Department of Horticulture, OSU/NWREC; Jana Lee, USDA/ARS, Corvallis; and Clint Burfitt, ODA, Salem.
