District committees

The Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District uses committees to review policies and procedures and to provide recommendations for actions and improvements. In most cases, each committee makes recommendations to the District Manager who reviews the recommendations and then makes final recommendations to the Board of Directors.

At this time, the District has twelve committees:

Standing committees vs. as-needed committees

These are divided into two groups: standing committees, and as-needed committees. Standing committees work throughout the year on issues important to Clackamas SWCD. As-needed committees have either completed their work or their work only comes up once a year; the Chair reactivates such committees when needed.
