Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Community Science Program

Do you have ash trees on your property? Then join our Community Science Program. This program is made up of a trained group of volunteers to monitor one of North America’s most destructive pests, the Emerald Ash Borer!

The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is an insect that kills many species of ash trees. Since its discovery in North America in 2002, EAB has killed tens of millions of ash trees. The Pacific Northwest, including Clackamas County, has many ash trees along streams, in forests, and along neighborhood streets.
