During this workshop, you will learn about how to maximize results to create a thick, healthy lawn. Topics covered include:
- grass types for lawn goals,
- fertilization,
- creating healthy soil, and
- tips for water conservation.
This workshop will be taught by Jacob Rose, owner Wild Rose Consulting Services, LLC.

About the Speaker
Jacob is a landscaper and owner of Wild Rose Consulting Services LLC, where he specializes in integrated weed management. Jacob has contracted with local government agencies and non-profit organizations to teach workshops in plant identification, ecological design, and landscaper safety. He also helps homeowners create vibrant places for people and wildlife in their backyards. In his current role is as an Invasive Species Specialist for the Institute for Natural Resources at Portland State University, he administers programs which track the spread of invasive species across Oregon. When he’s not in the weeds, he’s getting in way over his head with DIY projects or scrolling iNaturalist.
