The Budget Committee for the Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District will meet for the second time on April 23, 2014, from 9 am to 11 am, at the District office. At that meeting, they will hear public comments about the proposed budget for fiscal year 2014-2015.
If you can’t attend that meeting, you can still be heard. We invite you to submit your comments about the proposed budget to Budget Officer Tom Salzer using the form below. All submissions will be compiled and provided to the Budget Committee on April 23.
The proposed budget includes a new department addressing management of lands held or controlled by the District, and a new fund focused on the long-term conservation of working lands in Clackamas County. The District proposes adding one staff member to the roster to expand the local and regional efforts of our highly effective WeedWise Program.
