On February 18, 2014, the Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Directors made two appointments to the District’s Budget Committee.
Steve Fedje brings his many years of experience as an NRCS conservationist and his familiarity with federal Farm Bill programs to the Committee. Mr. Fedje is appointed to the remainder of a three-year term that expires in 2014.
P.K. Melethil is an Associate Director for the District, with water quality and scientific research background. Mr. Melethil is appointed to a three-year term, beginning in 2014 and expiring in 2016.

The budget calendar for developing, proposing, approving, and adopting the FY 2014-2015 budget was revised and approved by the Board of Directors on April 15, 2014.
The budget message presents a wide range of information about the Clackamas County SWCD and describes specific items in the budget proposed by the budget officer.
The Clackamas County SWCD budget proposed by the budget officer for fiscal year 2014-2015 was released on March 28, 2014. The budget message is a separate document that provides context and explanation for the proposed budget.
