The Clackamas County SWCD Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 3:30 pm to accept public comment on the District’s budget as approved by the Budget Committee. The hearing will be held in the District’s conference room at 221 Molalla Avenue, Suite 102, Oregon City. If you would like to provide public comment by email, please contact District Manager Tom Salzer before May 19, 2015.
Following the public hearing, the District’s Board of Directors will consider adopting (or modifying and adopting) the budget at their regular meeting at 4:00 pm on May 19, 2015. Specifically, the Board will take these actions:
- Adopt (or modify and adopt) the budget
- Make appropriations
- Impose an ad valorem tax rate
- Categorize the tax as a permanent rate tax subject to the general government limitation
